Watch and Listen closely, students

This next item is particularly geeky and highly interesting!

I've always had a fascination with the idea of dimensions, the idea of dimensions as different worlds (time lines) completely, and also of the matter of planes in which we live. Which is why I was extremely excited to find an easy-to-follow, entertaining, and informative video describing all ten dimensions. The website is Imagining the Tenth Dimension.





I've watched these videos at least three times now, twice by myself and once in order to show my test subject, I call him my boyfriend, and every time I watch it I feel like I learn something new. However, being able to wrap my mind around the possibilities of the universe is insane. Now, I must say that as a doctor I do not believe in the big bang nor the evolution of monkeys --> humans. I'm rather found of intelligent design, and who is to say that that intelligent designer did not create thousands of hundreds of infinities? For me, this is a very exciting concept. When I'm finished reading the current texts I'm working on, I plan on buying the book this video is based on.

Enjoy dissecting the video! I will enjoy dissecting this endangered species... it would be a shame if it went out of existence before I got my hands on it...or in it.

Take a look at this amazing video by Jonathan Jarvis on the credit crisis! Even if you already understand how the housing market got to where it is today, it is a very educational and entertaining 11-minute watch. He makes a somewhat very complex idea tangible for the masses to understand.
